Railway Recruitment Boards invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
RRB JE DMS and CMA Exam 2019 Eligibility:-
Age: 18-33 years (as on 01-01-2019)
RRB JE DMS and CMA Exam 2019 Application Form / Registration -
Candidates are advised to apply only official websites of the RRBs (Refer Para 20.0)
EXAMINATION FEE -
1. For all candidates except the fee Concession categories mentioned below at Out of this fee of Rs 500/- an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT - Rs 500/-
2. For candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class. This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT - Rs 250/-

RRB JE DMS and CMA Exam 2019 Syllabus -
1st Stage CBT Syllabus -
a. Mathematics : Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
b. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jum -bling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments etc.
d. General Science : Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus).
RRB JE DMS and CMA Exam 2019 Pattern -
The entire recruitment process shall involve, 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, and Document Verification/ Medical Examination as applicable. Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of CBTs.
1st Stage CBT (Common for all notified posts of this CEN):
Duration : 90 minutes (120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)

Mathematics - 30 Qs - 30 Marks
General Intelligence & Reasoning - 25 Qs - 25 Marks
General Awareness - 15 Qs - 15 Marks
General Science - 30 Qs - 30 Marks
Total - 100 Qs - 100 Marks
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
2nd Stage CBT:
Short listing of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam. Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for 2nd Stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit in total or for any specific category(s) as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.

Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
